Themed Collections
Body of work developed as a series based on one dominant idea.
These bodies of work, equine and/or landscape, are shaped by color and guided by light. Some are concentrated within a single year, while others continue and expand in later years when an idea still has more to say.

Horses • Art • French Riviera 🐴 🎨 🌴
Original oil painting series created as Invited Artist & Official Event Partner for Longines Global Champions Tour de Cannes 2026.
The collection was inspired by the energy of international showjumping and the equine form moving through the color and light of the French Riviera, with the Bay of Cannes as its backdrop. These paintings were created as CSI2* winner’s prizes for the 1.15m, 1.30m, and 1.45m classes.
This collection marks a significant collaboration between equestrian sport and contemporary oil painting celebrating Horses ~ Horizons ~ Light.

Paris & Athleticism Summer 2024 Series
Series Year: 2024 — Summer 2024 Olympics where Paris and Sport converged
Canvas sizes: Versailles à Cheval 100 x 81cm; Rhythmic Flare & Aquatic Flare 55 x 46 cm
Status: Available.
Living in the Paris region the excitement of the Olympics was all around. I could not help getting caught up in the buzz that inspired a series of paintings featuring Paris in motion—an energetic fusion of athleticism, spectacle, and historic grandeur for the Olympics.
Featuring:
Nothing like Paris to put a kick in the air with the elegance of rhythmic gymnastics.
The power and beauty of equestrian sports with the splendor of Versailles.
Diving through the air with a bird’s eye view of the Grand Palais and featuring the Alexander III bridge.
Barbizon Tree Silhouette Series
Series Year: 2023 — Landscape series — Shape as structure
Canvas sizes: 41× 33 cm
Status: Available.
A time-capsule series painted in 2023 focusing on one tree—my favorite in Barbizon—stripped back to silhouette against winter light seen from the Grand Rue, Barbizon in February 2021.
Each work is grounded in one dominant idea, with atmosphere serving the form rather than overtaking it.
This solitary tree has a front-row seat to the Barbizon sky, as winter evening light cools and recedes, carrying the sky from day into night.
Chemin du Bornage —The Four Seasons
Series Year: 2022 — Landscape series — Barbizon / Fontainebleau Forest path
Canvas sizes: 61x 50 cm
Status: Fully placed — works held in private collection.
A time-capsule series painted in 2022 — as we start to move out of the Covid lifestyle and welcome back the return to freedom … and for me the great outdoors. Rooted in the path, Chemin du Bornage, in the Fontainebleau forest on the edge of Barbizon. A path I enjoy walking from my art studio to the stables.
This series is about shifting light and color as the seasons change. The pull of the path form a compositional framework where light becomes the storyline and it is the landscape as structure, not decoration.
Equine Head Studies
Series Year: 2021 — Atmosphere studies; Sky as mood
Canvas sizes: Size varies
Status: Available unless indicated otherwise
In 2021, I completed a focused set of paintings centered on equine expression—close studies that strip away background and narrative to concentrate on the head, the expressive gaze, and the subtle shifts of emotion. Each work is an exercise in presence: how light turns form, how color carries energy, and how a change in edge or temperature can suggest softness, alertness, calm, or tension.
The aim was simple and direct—to capture the horse as felt being.
Series Year: 2021 — Atmosphere studies; Sky as mood
Canvas sizes: 61x 50 cm
Status: Partially placed — select works available unless indicated otherwise.
Covid Skies Series
A time-capsule series painted in 2021 — skies observed as emotional weather. These works distill atmosphere into essentials: horizon, temperature shifts, and a value plan that makes light feel present. The intention is impact over description—air, weight, and quiet intensity.
2020 was a very difficult year to say the least but mother nature was at her best : brilliant crystal clear skies and sunsets ablaze with reds, purples and pinks.
Oil on canvas, canvas size vary to subject, and locations include Gordes (my second home), Chailly-en-Biere, Barbizon (FRANCE) and Palm Beach FL (USA)
