Original Cityscape Oil Paintings
There is something intriguing about urban structures with harder edges, sharper temperature shifts, and surfaces that fight back—stone, steel, glass, wet pavement, neon, glare. The subjects change, but the real draw is the same: light doing something specific, and color carrying the energy.
These paintings are created between larger bodies of work, or whenever a city moment stops me: a shadow, a reflected light, a weathered wall, or a street corner buzzing with contrast. Urban art lets me push texture, simplify shapes, and test bolder value design in a way that feeds everything else I paint.
