LGCT Cannes 2026 has come and gone - great memories 🎨🐴🌴

It was such an honor to be the Invited Artist & Official Event Partner for the Longines Global Champions Tour de Cannes 2026 — creating original oil paintings for the three CSI2* winner’s prizes, exhibiting artwork across the VIP Espaces and Show Office, and capturing moments around the venue through quick ink sketches and watercolor studies.

And yes — doing it all with a new hat from my favorite hat shop in Barbizon, ArteMilanrio. Thank you, Rolando!

New Cannes-themed painting series

The new original painting series created for the event brought together the energy of international showjumping with the color, movement, and atmosphere of the French Riviera.

Each painting was created to hold a particular sense of movement and presence through Riviera colors. The most challenging element, as a colorist, was how to describe the horse without knowing what color horse the winner would be. I wanted something memorable — using color to suggest any horse, while the Bay of Cannes served as the common thread across all three paintings.

It was a privilege to see the works presented to the winning horse-and-rider combinations and to share this collaboration with the international LGCT community.

The level of sport was extraordinary. Watching the riders and horses move through the arena also reinforced what I wanted the paintings to hold: energy, light, and movement.

… And around the venue…

Beyond the winner’s prizes, it was very special to exhibit a broader selection of my original artwork across the VIP Espaces and Show Office. Seeing my horses on canvas placed throughout the venue created a dialogue between the paintings, the event, and the live atmosphere of international competition.

Art in Motion

I also loved the spontaneous side of the week — sketchbook in hand, moving through the venue, observing the horses, riders, atmosphere, and light. Those quick ink sketches and watercolor studies became another way of responding directly to the event as it unfolded.

So what else?

📣 I plan to release a fourth and final oil painting from the Cannes series. Because this piece was created to remain with me, I chose to hold it back until LGCT Cannes was finished. More soon.

We are now LIVE from LGCT Cannes 2026 🎨🐴🌴

The Longines Global Champions Tour de Cannes is now underway, and I’m delighted to be here as Artiste mise à l’honneur 2026 / Featured Artist as long as one of the Official Event Partners for the 2026 Edition.

After several intense months in the studio, the new original artwork created especially for Cannes has now arrived at the event — with the full reveal still to come — to be shown alongside a selected group of original equine paintings from my studio, brought together for this occasion.

My artwork is located around the event including the Espace VIP Riders, Espace VIP Sponsors, and Show Office. 🖼️

I’am also moving around the showgrounds including the visitor village and paddock with watercolors and sketchbook in hand, capturing small moments of Cannes — horses, light, movement, and the atmosphere of the show.🎨

As an artist, horse owner, and amateur showjumper, it means so much to be part of this amazing event bringing together my two passions (art and horses) on the French Riveria atmosphere and light.

Horses, Art, and the French Riviera. 🐴🎨🌴

Honored to be part of the official partner lineup for the Longines Global Champions Tour of Cannes 2026 (4-6 June) as Artiste Mise à l’Honneur 2026 / Featured Artist.

For the last couple of months I’ve been working on new equine art to be unveiled in Cannes next week. 🎨✨

As a horse owner, amateur show jumper, and artist ... this project feels especially meaningful — where showjumping, Riviera light, and art converge. ✨

During the event, I’ll be there with watercolors and sketchbook in hand 🎨 — capturing small moments of Cannes 🌴 : light, movement, atmosphere, and horses.

🖌️ In the Studio — Preparing for Dutch Equine Art Fair Amsterdam 🇳🇱
Between these events, my Barbizon studio has been VERY BUSY preparing for the Dutch Equine Art Fair, that will be held at the Living Horse Museum in Amsterdam (6–9 November) with Paard Verzameld. A very special event in a beautify historic setting De Hollandsche Manege for this unique international event featuring over 30 curated artists from around the world … and entirely contemporary equine art. 🐴

I’m currently creating four large-format oil paintings that explore presence, atmosphere, and connection through the expressive form of the horse. Can’t wait to share these with you soon 🎨

Je suis ravie de faire partie à la QUINZAINE DU CHEVAL organisés par la Médiathèque de Fontainebleau en partenariat avec l'association Fontainebleau Cheval en amont du Printemps des Sports Équestres et des grands concours hippiques internationales (CDI 5*dressage, CSI 5* saut d'obstacles et CCI 3-S complet) au Grand Parquet fin avril. Dans le cadre de la Quinzaine du Cheval mes chevaux sur toile partagent les murs à Médiathèque de Fontainebleau – Espace Culturel de la Charité Royale avec des toiles d’art équin créée par Laetitia PLINGUET.

J’ai hâte à vous revoir 😊. Je serai au Vernissage le samedi 13 avril (12h30-15h) et sur place pendant la semaine du 15 avril avec la peinture in vivo et j’anime quelques Ateliers Les P’tites Peintres pendant la semaine du 15 avril.

[🇺🇸] It has been a while since I blogged. Sorry for that! A lot has been going on with art and the horses which I plan to share with you in the upcoming days but wanted to get this note out to you in case you are in the FONTAINBLEAU region in the upcoming days.

I am thrilled to be part “15 Days Celebrating the Horse” organized by Médiathèque Fontainebleau in partnership with the association Fontainebleau Cheval ahead of Printemps des Sports Équestres of international horse shows (CDI 5*dressage, CSI 5* jumping, CCI 3-S cross country) at the  Grand Parquet end of April. As part of the “15 Days Celebrating the Horse”, my equine art is on display along with fellow equine artist Laetitia PLINGUET.

Would love to catch up with you 😊.  I will be at the Vernissage on Saturday 13 April (12:30-3pm), doing LIVE painting, and leading a couple of art workshops for the little painters during the week of 15 April.  

A wonderful event not to miss in Fontainebleau until 20 April 2024 🐴

• Art et Matières 91 (Essonne) – 29 Jan to 6 Feb 2022. An annual event held in five different towns in the Essonne department: different locations with different artists and themes. My equine artwork is on display at the Maisse location (centre culturel Robert Dumas) with other painters and sculptures. •  Galerie Thuillier Prix du Jury (Marais Paris) – 4 to 7 Feb 2022. An invitation only event …. different artists are permitted to display 1-2 artwork(s). Vernissage Tuesday 8 Feb from 6pm with the prize giving at 7:30pm.  It is just right down the street from the Picasso Museum.  Come and see which painting to be displayed …. You will not have seen this painting yet as it is fresh-off-the-easel! 

• Salon des Artistes Francais / Art Capital Paris 2022 (Grand Palais Ephemere) – 16 to 20 Feb 2022. An art event NOT to miss ! Four different salons with over 2000 artists. I am thrilled to have been selected by the Society for the Salon des Artistes Français for the third year in the row.  Tickets can be purchased at the link below.   [🇺🇸]  A wonderful start to 2022. I am so delighted that my oil painting “Bowie” (2021) was selected for the “Salon des Artistes Français” as part of ART CAPITAL PARIS 2022 to be held at the Grand Palais Éphémère (16-20 February 2022).  It is the third consecutive year to be selected for this incredible event at the Grand Palais.

2 Honorable Mentions “Blue” (Aug 2021)

Thrilled that both “BlueBelle”, my new #monochromatic ultramarine blue oil painting, and “Blue Coat” (2018) were awarded Honorable Mention in the Grey Cube Gallery Aug 2021 “Blue” international online art competition. 

The show included a range of artistic styles and mediums (e.g., oil on canvas, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and photography). The submissions were judged on artistic expression including originality, quality, and interpretation. Out of all entries, 155 artworks were shortlisted for inclusion in the show.

Both paintings will be on display at #galerie39barbizon from 24 Aug - 5 Sept.

Salon des Artistes Français 2021 : Sélectionnée

[🇫🇷]  Je suis ravie que mon tableau à huile 100x81cm «Into the Final Straight» fait en 2020 a été sélectionnée par jury pour le Salon «Société des Artistes Français» dans le cadre de ART CAPITAL 2021 programmé du 10 au 14 février 2021. C'est un merveilleux début d'année 2021 après une année 2020 très difficile, surtout en tant qu'artiste peintre à l'huile émergente. C'est ma deuxième année pour soumettre ma candidature et la deuxième année mon œuvre d’art a été accepté par ce prestigieux jury pour cet incroyable événement d’art qui normalement se tient au Grand Palais (Paris). Malheureusement l’évènement n’aura pas lieu à cause de l’état d’urgence sanitaire qui a été prolongé jusqu’au 16 février 2021.  Toutefois, la Société des Artistes Français va présenter les œuvres d’art sélectionnées par leur jury pour le « Salon des Artistes Français » dans le catalogue virtuel diffusé en février 2021 sur leur site https://www.artistes-francais.com. [🇺🇸] Thrilled that my oil 100x81cm oil painting “Into the Final Straight” (2020) was jury-selected for the Salon “Société des Artistes Français” as part of ART CAPITAL 2021 (10-14 February 2021).  It is a wonderful start to 2021 following a very difficult 2020 especially as an emerging artist / oil painter. It is my second year to apply and the second year my work has been accepted by this prestigious jury for this incredible art event that is normally held in the Grand Palais (Paris).  Unfortunately, this big art event will not take place because of the state of emergency due to Covid has been extended to 16 February 2021. However, Société des Artistes Français will present the artwork selected by their jury for the « Salon des Artistes Français » in an online catalogue / gallery on their website (https://www.artistes-francais.com) in February 2021. There will also be a promotion of the online catalog / gallery on Instagram and Facebook.  Stay tuned for more information to come.

Art & Design Magazine, No. 25 Autumn 2020 (Featured Artist)

[🇫🇷] Le calendrier des événements des expositions d'art étant un peu incertain étant donné les circonstances avec Covid-19, il a été très intéressant d'explorer d'autres avenues. Durant l'été 2020, j'ai eu l'opportunité d'être présenté dans le magazine, « International Thoroughbred ». Maintenant pendant l'automne 2020, je suis un artiste présenté avec mes peintures équins dans le magazine Art & Design, édition n ° 25 de septembre-novembre 2020. Je partage le lien vers le magazine.  [🇺🇸] With the art show event calendar being a bit uncertain given the circumstances with Covid-19, it has been very interesting to explore alternative avenues to showcase my work. During the summer 2020, I had the opportunity to be in International Thoroughbred Magazine. Now during Autumn 2020, it is exciting to have my equine artwork featured in the Art & Design Magazine, Sept-Nov 2020 No. 25 edition. I attach a link to the magazine. 2eme Expo Arts Equestre, Galerie 39 Barbizon

[🇺🇸]  So pleased to announce the 2eme Expo Arts Equestre co-hosted with professional equine photographer,@CedricMion. The art show will be held at Galerie 39 (Barbizon 77630) from 18 -31 August from 2-7pm each day (31 Aug, 10am-12pm). The vernissage will be on Friday 28 August from 5pm. Given Covid-19, face masks are obligatory and we will be following French public event requirements effective at the time. We look forward to the opportunity of sharing our new work, which is also available for purchase.

International Thoroughbred Magazine (June 2020 issue)

[🇺🇸]  “International Thoroughbred” Magazine, a leading UK & European racing and breeding magazine, published an exclusive Equine Art special digital edition in June 2020.  The magazine is circulated to owners, trainers, bloodstock professionals and enthusiasts. The whole world has going through a difficult period right now and ITB wanted to do something special and colourful. I was so pleased to have been invited for this endeavor featuring leading equestrian artists and sculptures.

[🇫🇷] « International Thoroughbred » Magazine, l'un des principaux magazines de course et d'élevage au Royaume-Uni et en Europe, a publié une édition numérique spéciale exclusive Équine Art en juin 2020. Le magazine est distribué aux propriétaires, formateurs(trices), professionnel(le)s et amateurs passionné(e)s de chevaux pur-sang. Le monde entier traverse actuellement une période difficile et ITB voulait faire une édition spéciale et coloré. J'étais tellement heureuse d'avoir été invitée à cette opportunité mettant en vedette certaines artistes et sculptures équestres.

Salon d’Art Animalier (fev 2020)

13eme Biennal Salon d’Art Animalier (toutes techniques) se tiendra du samedi 29 février au dimanche 8 mars à Saint-Pierre-Les-Nemours (Centre Culturel) : le weekend 10h-19h et pendant la semaine 14h-19h. L’exposition va présenter 43 artistes. Je vais aussi présenter 2 nouveaux tableaux.

Il y a aura des démonstrations artistique / ateliers-séance dédicaces pendant le weekend du 29 fev-1 mars et aussi le weekend du 7-8 mars : des stages de 9h-16h et des démonstrations / dédicaces du 14h-19h.  Je ferai une démonstration de peinture à l’huile dimanche le 1 mars (14h-18h).

[The 13th Bi-annual Animal Art Salon (covering different artistic techniques) will be held from Saturday 29 February to Sunday 8 March in Saint-Pierre-Les-Nemours (Culture Center): weekend hours from 10am-7pm and weekday hours from 2-7pm. 230e Salon des Artistes Français

Le 230eme Salon des Artistes Français dans le cadre d’Art Capital 2020 commence aujourd’hui avec le vernissage et il est ouvert au public du 12-16 février 2020. Profitez à venir de cette belle occasion sous la nef du Grand Palais des Champs-Elysées – Paris, la plus grande verrière d'Europe, avant de la fermeture en décembre 2020 jusqu’au mars 2023, pour une réouverture avant les JO 2024.

 Art Capital est le rassemblement annuel incontournable des artistes et talents de France avec 4 Salons : le Salon des Artistes Français, le Salon des Indépendants, le Salon du Dessin et Peinture à l'eau et le Salon Comparaisons.  Un rendez-vous à ne pas manquer pour les amoureux de l'art contemporain.

[The 230th Salon des Artistes Français as part of Art Capital 2020 starts from today with a vernissage and is open to the public from 12-16 February 2020. It is a wonderful opportunity to come to this exceptional event in the nave of the Grand Palais des Champs-Elysées – Paris, the biggest glass roof in Europe, before its closing for renovation from December 2020 to March 2023, re-opening for the Summer Olympics 2024.

 Art Capital is a must-see art event in France for those that love contemporary art with 4 Salons: le Salon des Artistes Français, le Salon des Indépendants, le Salon du Dessin et Peinture à l'eau et le Salon Comparaisons.

I am thrilled that my oil painting, “Blue Coat” (2018), was selected by the Jury for the Salon des Artistes Français as part of this major annual event.

 Open to the public from Wednesday 12 Feb to Sunday 16 Feb: Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (11am-8pm), Thursday and Saturday (11am-9pm) . Entry requires a purchased ticket (please see the URL link below to purchase online).

Salon Art et Matière 91

The 45th Salon Art et Matière 91 will be held from Saturday 25 January – Sunday 2 February across 5 locations near Fontainebleau featuring different artists / artistic style and format. The exhibiting hours and the details for the various vernissage are noted below.

•  BOIGNEVILLE  (Art Animalier) - Salle polyvalente, rue de Saint Val (près de l'église). Ouverture du lundi au samedi 14h30 à 17h30 et les dimanches de 10h00 à 12h00 et de 14h30 à 17h30. Vernissage : samedi 25 janvier 15h15.

• GIRONVILLE-SUR-ESSONNE  (Gravure) - Salle polyvalente, rue de la Gare à Gironville-sur-Essonne. Ouverture du lundi au samedi 14h30 à 17h30 et les dimanches de 10h00 à 12h00 et de 14h30 à 17h30. Vernissage : samedi 25 janvier 17h15.

• MAISSE (Peinture et Sculpture) - Centre culturel et de loisirs Robert Dumas, rue de la République. Ouverture du lundi au samedi 14h30 à 19h00 et les dimanches de 10h00 à 12h00 et de 14h30 à 19h00. Vernissage : samedi 25 janvier 18h.

• PRUNAY-SUR-ESSONNE (Photographie) - Salle polyvalente, rue de la Fosse Blanche à Prunay-sur-Essonne. Ouverture du lundi au samedi 14h30 à 17h30 et les dimanches de 10h00 à 12h00 et de 14h30 à 17h30. Vernissage : samedi 25 janvier 16h30.

• VAYRES-SUR-ESSONNE (Art et Apprentissage) - Institut médico professionnel, Château de la sablière, 91820 Vayres-sur-Essonne. Ouverture du lundi au dimanche de 14h30 à 17h30. Vernissage : mercredi 29 janvier 17h30.

Salon des Artistes Francais / Art Capital 2020: selectionnée

Very pleased to announce that « Blue Coat » 81x65cm oils on linen painting was selected by the jury of the “Société des Artistes Français” for their 230th Salon as part of Art Capital 2020 to be held at the Grand Palais from 12-16 February 2020 (vernissage by invitation to be held on Tuesday 11 February 2020).

Animal Art Paris 2019!

Thank you to all who came to the Salon International Animal Art Paris 2019!  

It was a wonderful event with the animal art community, and I enjoyed meeting new artists and the visitors to the show, especially the little kiddies! It was a very busy “Avant Premier” and “Vernissage” followed by a weekend with no snow (yes), a day at the races on Saturday, and a beautiful Sunday with sun shining on the beautiful autumnal setting at Hippodrome d’Auteuil.

Les tirages qualité Fine Art

NOUVEAUTÉ!  Les impressions d’haut qualité de mes œuvres d’art sont disponible suite un nouveau partenariat avec Cedric Mion, Photographe Équestre Professionnel. Chaque tirage est fait sur une basse de photographe professionnel avec une calibration avant impressive définitive. Le tirage est une taille A3 sur papier « Fine Art » 100% coton norme musée ISO 9706. L’impression est au format 29x35cm avec quelques millimetres de marge en haut et quelques centimetres sur les côtes, qui permet à la fois de manipuler les tirages et de pouvoir les encadrer avec une Marie-Louise (format complet est en taille A3). Ils seront disponible pour 2 œuvres “Acardi Du Houssoit Z” (aka White Jumper) and “Reining Stop” au Salon International Animal Art Paris 2019 à Hippodrome d’Auteuil de 15-17 Novembre 2019. 

“Running the Pattern” finished

New 100x81 cm oils on linen painting finished and will be on display at the Salon International Animal Art Paris 2019 at Hippodrome d’Auteuil from 15-17 Nov 2019 (vernissage Thurs 14 Nov from 5-10pm).  It was inspired by attending the international horse reining competition at Bo Ranch (La Chappelle La Reine), capturing Wimpys Little Chees running the pattern in the new state-of-the-art indoor ring. There was so much movement to play with through color and under the sunlight coming through the roof of the arena that created a magical gold mist trailing the galloping horse that I wanted to capture on canvas.
