Hello !

CSI Jump Bost (international showjumping) is coming up this week at Le Grand Parquet, Fontainebleau (from 1–4 October).

I’m delighted to be joining CSI Jump Bost in a different way this time, not as a rider, but as Artist & Event Partner. I’ll be there with new work, a small art boutique and LIVE painting … with a little added spice: our mare, Bellissima Gravelotte, will also be in the ring with my daughter.

Horses and the sport are a constant source of inspiration for my work … so having both sides of my life come together makes this event very special.

And a little horse news from home …

Meet Limone and Co.

We retired my mare (and art muse), Bowie de la Mure, who is thoroughly enjoying life in the fields of Normandy. And we’ve welcomed Limone and Co (“Lemon” 🍋) to the family.

She’s 5, with an amazing temperament and movement, and stands a tall 17 hands. So my three-step mounting block is staying firmly in use! 😂

Galerie 39 Barbizon [Equine Art Show 2026]

Hello !

The weather is beautiful and a significant portion of the Fontainebleau Forest has just reopened following the devastating fires in July … the perfect backdrop to celebrate the end of summer here in Barbizon! It’s also time for my annual solo art show, CHEVAL DANS L’ART — 26 August to 6 September 2026 — celebrating my passion for horses, color and contemporary equine art. 🐴 🖼️✨

It is a great time of year to be at Galerie 39 Barbizon, with equestrian activity all around us. The exhibition coincides with the Annual French National Showjumping Championships for Young Horses at the Grand Parquet in Fontainebleau (Grande Semaine CSO — Finales Nationales des Jeunes Chevaux), as well as the annual Fences Elite Sales of Young Horses at Espace Rozier.

The exhibition will be open every day from 13:30 to 19:30 — relaxed and informal — come by at your own pace and see LIVE oil painting evolving at the easel

A special note for Sunday 30 August:  I’ve been invited to paint beside the Grand Canal of the Château de Fontainebleau as part of the Fête de la Saint-Louis, hosted by the City of Fontainebleau. So for a few hours, I’ll  trade Galerie 39 to paint under the open sky. Galerie 39 will remain open, and I’ll be back from 4pm. More information to come later this week.

🌟 Given the devastation caused by the recent Fontainebleau forest fires, a portion of art sales will be donated to the Fondation du patrimoine in support of its Sauvons la forêt de Fontainebleau initiative. 🌳

LGCT Cannes 2026 [Artist Recap]

LGCT Cannes 2026 has come and gone - great memories 🎨🐴🌴

It was such an honor to be the Invited Artist & Official Event Partner for the Longines Global Champions Tour de Cannes 2026 — creating original oil paintings for the three CSI2* winner’s prizes, exhibiting artwork across the VIP Espaces and Show Office, and capturing moments around the venue through quick ink sketches and watercolor studies.

And yes — doing it all with a new hat from my favorite hat shop in Barbizon, ArteMilanrio. Thank you, Rolando!

New Cannes-themed painting series

The new original painting series created for the event brought together the energy of international showjumping with the color, movement, and atmosphere of the French Riviera.

Each painting was created to hold a particular sense of movement and presence through Riviera colors. The most challenging element, as a colorist, was how to describe the horse without knowing what color horse the winner would be. I wanted something memorable — using color to suggest any horse, while the Bay of Cannes served as the common thread across all three paintings.

It was a privilege to see the works presented to the winning horse-and-rider combinations and to share this collaboration with the international LGCT community.

The level of sport was extraordinary. Watching the riders and horses move through the arena also reinforced what I wanted the paintings to hold: energy, light, and movement.

… And around the venue…

Beyond the winner’s prizes, it was very special to exhibit a broader selection of my original artwork across the VIP Espaces and Show Office. Seeing my horses on canvas placed throughout the venue created a dialogue between the paintings, the event, and the live atmosphere of international competition.

Art in Motion

I also loved the spontaneous side of the week — sketchbook in hand, moving through the venue, observing the horses, riders, atmosphere, and light. Those quick ink sketches and watercolor studies became another way of responding directly to the event as it unfolded.

So what else?

📣 I plan to release a fourth and final oil painting from the Cannes series. Because this piece was created to remain with me, I chose to hold it back until LGCT Cannes was finished. More soon.

The weather has been beautiful to set up my solo art show, Cheval dans l’Art (26 Aug to 7 Sept  2025) celebrating my passion for art and horses. 🖼️✨

You’ll find me in front of the easel with LIVE painting in action …for artwork destined for the Dutch Equine Art Fair in Amsterdam (Nov 2025) 🎨 🐴 🇳🇱

It is a great time of year to be at Galerie 39 with equine enthusiasts all around especially given it is also the same time as the French Young Jumper Finals at Grand Parquet Fontainebleau (la Grande Semaine CSO Finales Nationals de Jeunes Chevaux) and the annual Sale of Young Jumpers at Espace Rozier (Les Ventes Fences Elite de Jeune Chevaux.

And as always … it is one of my favorite events in my art calendar to catch up with you.

Hello! 🎨 I'm thrilled to share my latest oil painting with you—a vibrant 2025 painting that captures winter’s essence at Twilight! 🌅

The winter may be grey but nothing like color to had warmth to a space.

Inspired by my home county (Bucks County, PA), this new piece is a celebration of life and light where color and emotion collide.

With a sunny weekend predicted, I can't wait to do some LIVE painting! 🎨😊✨

All set up and ready ‘Hiver en Couleur’ (4- 16 February 2025) solo art show celebrating the colors of nature to brighten up the grey winter days. 🖼️✨

I can’t wait to share my vibrant landscapes with you along with some other artwork including a sprinkle of some equine art. This is one of my favorite events in my art calendar to catch up you.

One piece I’m particularly excited about is the feature painting “Ciel d’Hiver’, which captures a stunning interplay of light and shadow across a winter landscape. Galerie 39 Barbizon merci beaucoup!

🇫🇷  Merci beaucoup pour une très belle exposition à la Galerie 39 Barbizon cet été. Ça me fait le plaisir de retrouver des amis, des clients et de faire des nouvelles connaissances. Comme toujours, que des bonheurs à partager des nouvelles toiles, de faire peinture en vivo , et à voir mes œuvres partir vers leurs nouvelles maisons 🔴.

Suite l’exposition, j'ai dû partir aux Etats-Unis pour des raisons familiales. Je serai de retour en septembre en préparation pour les événements à venir à l’automne (SAUMUR 49, PARIS, et COUBRON 93), CLIQUEZ ici pour plus d'informations.

🇫🇷 Un peu en retard dans la communication, mais j'ai été occupée à finaliser des nouvelles toiles. La prochaine exposition d'art personnelle avec mes chevaux à Galerie 39 Barbizon commencera cette semaine ! J'ai hâte de vous partager mes nouveaux tableaux équins. Comme toujours, je serai là avec ma toile et ma palette pour peindre IN VIVO 🎨 . 

Vernissage se tiendra le vendredi 2 août à partir de 18h.

J'espère que cela n'entrera pas en conflit avec la programmation de jeux olympique du saut d'obstacles mais difficile de trouver un créneau qui marche bien pendant les Jeux olympiques. 😊

[ 🇺🇸  A wee bit late in communication but been busy wrapping up new paintings. Next my Solo Art Show with my horses at Galerie 39 Barbizon is starting this week! I can’t wait to share my new equine paintings with you. As always, I’ll be there with my canvas & palette doing LIVE painting 🎨 .

Vernissage will be held on Friday 2 August 2024 6pm.

I hope it does not clash with the Olympic showjumping timing – tough to find a timeslot that works during the Olympics. 😊

3e Exposition d’Art Equestre

[ 🇫🇷] Je suis ravie de vous accueillir à mon exposition. Je vous présenterai mes œuvres d'arts de nouveaux,  y compris des études fait à l’huile en petit format, dédiées au monde du cheval dans le beau village de Barbizon sous le soleil d’été et autours les arbres de la foret Fontainebleau.

 Je vais aussi travailler dans la galerie en réalisation d'un tableau pendant toute la durée de l'exposition, qui est toujours intéressants particulièrement pour les enfants à voir comment on le fait. 

Entrée gratuite. La visite de la galerie se fera dans le respect des mesures sanitaires.

Venez à dire bonjour, de parler et de partager le bonheur. 

[🇺🇸] I am delighted to host a solo exhibition. I will be presenting new oil paintings, as well as some fun smaller format oil studies, dedicated to the horse world in the beautiful village of Barbizon under the summer sun and surrounded by the fabulous trees of the Fontainebleau Forest.

I will also be working on a new oil painting in the gallery during the art exhibition, which is always fun especially for the children to see how it is done. 

Free admission. The visit of the gallery will be done in compliance with sanitary measures.
