Nature is one of the touchstones of my art, chasing the light and to capture atmosphere of life around me through the lens of Land, Sea & Sky

My studio is in Barbizon, France, on the edge of the Fontainebleau Forest, just outside Paris. The forest is part of my daily life, whether walking the dogs, riding on horseback, or simply looking out from my studio window.

Like the artists of the Barbizon School before me, I draw inspiration from the light and nature that surround me, whether around my studio in Barbizon, from my second studio in Gordes, Provence, across landscapes encountered through my travels, or in the countryside back home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

🖼️ My paintings reflect a deep appreciation for the natural world — a reminder of what should be protected so not reduced to a memory of “what once was.”

🔎 Since 2024, a hidden equine signature is embedded within new work — my muse and its grace remaining quietly present on the canvas.
