The winter may be grey but nothing like color to had warmth to a space.

Inspired by my home county (Bucks County, PA), this new piece is a celebration of life and light where color and emotion collide.

With a sunny weekend predicted, I can't wait to do some LIVE painting! 🎨😊✨

Hello !

All set up and ready ‘Hiver en Couleur’ (4- 16 February 2025) solo art show celebrating the colors of nature to brighten up the grey winter days. 🖼️✨

I can’t wait to share my vibrant landscapes with you along with some other artwork including a sprinkle of some equine art. This is one of my favorite events in my art calendar to catch up you.

As always there will be LIVE painting in action. 🎨a

You won’t want to miss it—come immerse yourself in the colors and emotions that art can evoke!

One piece I’m particularly excited about is the feature painting “Ciel d’Hiver’, which captures a stunning interplay of light and shadow across a winter landscape. I can’t wait for you to see it in person. Will you be able to find the secret horse hidden in the painting ? [a new little signature accent I’ve added to the landscapes since 2024 and is a hit with everybody] 🔍

Flying into Holiday season!

I hope you are doing well. Since my last email, Salon d’Automne 2024 hosted by the town of COUBRON (93) has since finished and have lots of wonderful memories of the week. It was very special to the Guest of Honor (‘invitée d’honneur’) but what I LOVED most was sharing my world as an artist with students of local schools. Even with some snow challenges ❄️ still achieved to do a full day where I met with 6 different groups of students with lots of intrigue and questions !! 😀 Some of them where as tall as me …not difficult right? 😂. Here are some photos of the week.

December so far has been very busy wrapping up

• 5 commissions

• 2 new painting releases

• 1 Paard Verzameld Collective December Equine Art Challenge (released Sunday evening 8 Dec)

• Launch of 2 E-Shops (USA 🇺🇸 & Europe🇪🇺), and

• 1 Marché de Noël Barbizon 14 December.

The Marché de Noël will be my first and would be lovely to seeing you !! Santa Claus will be there along with holiday snacks and vin chaud, a horse-drawn carriage and local artists including myself. I can’t wait to share some exciting new art goodies for people of all ages and budgets.

Salon d’Automne 2024 COUBRON [Guest of Honor]

In November 2023, was HONORED to receive 2 awards (PRIX Invité d’Honneur and PRIX Coup de Cœur 🖼️🏆🏆 ) at the Salon d'Automne 2023 hosted by the town of Coubron.

THIS YEAR, I will be back attending the Salon d'Automne 2024 as GUEST OF HONOR (Invitée d’Honneur).  VERY grateful to receive this accolade and can’t wait!

I’ll be there with 25+ landscape & equine oil paintings including NEW 2024 paintings that will be unveiled for the first time at this show. 

Thank you Monsieur Le Mayor and the Art cultural team of COUBRON for your assistance in organizing this show.

A special thank you to the amazing support of my dear friends and family as it takes time and dedication (and support) to enable me to create art and participate in events to get to this point.

“Butterfly Effect 3” equine art oil painting, Section: Figuration (sector 76-80)

[🇫🇷] Un ‘petit moment’ a passé depuis mes deniers nouveaux mais suite un accident important en mars, la suite deux chirurgies (cheville cassé et ligament genou), une visite aux USA pendant 5 semaines pour les raisons familiales et urgents et, en plus, quelques expositions pendant l’été … j’ai été vraiment débordée. Mon silence n’a pas été pour rien parce qu’il y aura une dizaine de toiles à l’huile qui vont sortir avant fin 2024. Je vais communiquer en plus bientôt. Je promis !

Entre temps, je suis au septième ciel que mon grand tableau «Butterfly Effect 3» a été sélectionnée pour le 121e Salon d’Automne Paris.

« Butterfly Effect 3» n’a pas été facile à réaliser étant donné sa taille et j’avais jambe était immobilisée de mi-mars à juillet suite 2 chirurgies. Mon tableau à l’huile art équin célèbre ‘ma Barbizon’. J'ai hâte de le partager avec vous au Salon (Section : Figuration, sector 76 - 80).

 [🇺🇸]  It's been awhile since my last news but following a serious accident in March, two surgeries (ankle and knee ligament), a visit to the USA for 5 weeks for urgent family reasons and exhibitions during the summer …I was really overwhelmed! My silence has not been for nothing because 10+ new oil paintings will be released before the end of 2024. I will communicate more on this new work soon. I promise!

In the meantime, I am over-the-moon that my large painting “Butterfly Effect 3” was selected for the 121st Le Salon d'Automne Paris.

« Butterfly Effect 3» was a CHALLENGE to create given its large size and the fact that my leg was immobilised from mid-March to July following 2 surgeries. My equine art oil painting celebrates ‘my Barbizon’. I look forward to sharing it with you at the Salon (Section : Figuration, sector 76 - 80).

L’histoire du Salon d’Automne

Le Salon d'Automne est un événement d’art historique à Paris …créée le 31 octobre 1903 au Petit Palais Paris … une exposition indépendante pour promouvoir l'avant-garde et les idées novatrices de l'époque. Le choix de l'automne comme saison de présentation est stratégique à plus d'un titre : il permet aux artistes de présenter les petits formats réalisés en extérieur au cours de l'été — en se plaçant ainsi à la pointe de l'actualité artistique — et de se démarquer des deux autres grands salons — celui de la  Société nationale des beaux-arts et celui des Salon des Artistes Français — qui ont lieu au printemps (ca va dire, en février).  Le Salon d’Automne a précipité l’émergence de tous les grands courants artistiques du XXe siècle : Surréalisme, Cubisme, Abstraction, Nouvelle Figuration, Art Singulier. 🇫🇷  Merci beaucoup pour une très belle exposition à la Galerie 39 Barbizon cet été. Ça me fait le plaisir de retrouver des amis, des clients et de faire des nouvelles connaissances. Comme toujours, que des bonheurs à partager des nouvelles toiles, de faire peinture en vivo , et à voir mes œuvres partir vers leurs nouvelles maisons 🔴.

Suite l’exposition, j'ai dû partir aux Etats-Unis pour des raisons familiales. Je serai de retour en septembre en préparation pour les événements à venir à l’automne (SAUMUR 49, PARIS, et COUBRON 93), CLIQUEZ ici pour plus d'informations.

🇫🇷 Un peu en retard dans la communication, mais j'ai été occupée à finaliser des nouvelles toiles. La prochaine exposition d'art personnelle avec mes chevaux à Galerie 39 Barbizon commencera cette semaine ! J'ai hâte de vous partager mes nouveaux tableaux équins. Comme toujours, je serai là avec ma toile et ma palette pour peindre IN VIVO 🎨 . 

Vernissage se tiendra le vendredi 2 août à partir de 18h.

J'espère que cela n'entrera pas en conflit avec la programmation de jeux olympique du saut d'obstacles mais difficile de trouver un créneau qui marche bien pendant les Jeux olympiques. 😊

[ 🇺🇸  A wee bit late in communication but been busy wrapping up new paintings. Next my Solo Art Show with my horses at Galerie 39 Barbizon is starting this week! I can’t wait to share my new equine paintings with you. As always, I’ll be there with my canvas & palette doing LIVE painting 🎨 .

On the road to recovery !

Bit of a bumpy spring but looking forward to summer art shows

🇫🇷 Rien de tel qu'un accident à cheval surtout lorsqu'il arrive sur le montoir ! Donc le 14 mars, jour normal, j'étais sur le point de monter le 2ème cheval de la journée MAIS j’ai fait une chute au montoir : os externe de la cheville cassé et une rupture du ligament croisé antérieur et le ligament collatéral médial abimé au genou. HEUREUSEMENT… tout s'est passé sur la même jambe ET aucun dommage à mes poignets donc je pouvais toujours peindre !! Deux interventions chirurgicales plus tard… (a) fière d’être une propriétaire d'une plaque en titane à la cheville, et (b) chirurgie reconstructive du LCA. Avec tous, j’ai bien travaillé dans l’atelier même si la plupart du temps ma jambe a porté une attelle de quelque sorte. Il y a des nouvelles toiles : des commandes, des chevaux et des œuvres inspirées par l’esprit olympique prévue pour deux expositions d’art en juillet 2024 (Paris et Barbizon).

🇺🇸  Nothing like a riding accident especially when it arrives getting onto the mounting block! So on 14 March, a normal day, I was about to mount the 2nd horse of the day BUT and my foot slipped on the mounting block and I went down : broken outer ankle bone and with a ruptured ACL and damaged MCL in the knee. LUCKILY …  all happened on the same leg AND no damage to my wrists so could still paint !! Two surgeries later…(a) proud owner of a titanium plate in my ankle, and (b) ACL reconstructive surgery. With all of that, I have been very busy in the art studio (even though most of the time my leg has been in some sort of brace) with  new paintings: commissions, equines and Olympic-spirit artwork leading up to two art shows in July 2024 (Paris et Barbizon.

Cela fait un moment que j’ai fait un blog. Désolée ! Depuis un bon moment mois j’ai été vraiment occupée entre l’art et mes chevaux que je partagerai avec vous pendant les jours qui viennent. Je suis ravie de faire partie à la QUINZAINE DU CHEVAL organisés par la Médiathèque de Fontainebleau en partenariat avec l'association Fontainebleau Cheval en amont du Printemps des Sports Équestres et des grands concours hippiques internationales (CDI 5*dressage, CSI 5* saut d'obstacles et CCI 3-S complet) au Grand Parquet fin avril. Dans le cadre de la Quinzaine du Cheval mes chevaux sur toile partagent les murs à Médiathèque de Fontainebleau – Espace Culturel de la Charité Royale avec des toiles d’art équin créée par Laetitia PLINGUET.

J’ai hâte à vous revoir 😊. Je serai au Vernissage le samedi 13 avril (12h30-15h) et sur place pendant la semaine du 15 avril avec la peinture in vivo et j’anime quelques Ateliers Les P’tites Peintres pendant la semaine du 15 avril.

[🇺🇸] It has been a while since I blogged. Sorry for that! A lot has been going on with art and the horses which I plan to share with you in the upcoming days but wanted to get this note out to you in case you are in the FONTAINBLEAU region in the upcoming days.

I am thrilled to be part “15 Days Celebrating the Horse” organized by Médiathèque Fontainebleau in partnership with the association Fontainebleau Cheval ahead of Printemps des Sports Équestres of international horse shows (CDI 5*dressage, CSI 5* jumping, CCI 3-S cross country) at the  Grand Parquet end of April. As part of the “15 Days Celebrating the Horse”, my equine art is on display along with fellow equine artist Laetitia PLINGUET.

Would love to catch up with you 😊.  I will be at the Vernissage on Saturday 13 April (12:30-3pm), doing LIVE painting, and leading a couple of art workshops for the little painters during the week of 15 April.  

A wonderful event not to miss in Fontainebleau until 20 April 2024 🐴

OFFCheval transforms the beautiful town of SAUMUR into an open-air equine art gallery celebrating contemporary equine art (painting, photography, sculpture etc). As in 2021, my large and small format equine oil paintings will be at The COMBIER Distillery as you enter Saumur.

Médaille Vermeil, Arts-Sciences-Lettres Paris 2023

[ 🇫🇷] Au palmarès du 108 ème anniversaire Arts-Sciences-Lettres à Paris le 14 octobre 2023 (un Association sous le haut patronage du Président de la République), j’ai eu l’honneur et fierté de recevoir la Médaille de Vermeil de l’Académie Arts-Sciences-Lettres en reconnaissance de mon travail et de ma contribution dans les domaines artistiques par le Présidente, Monsieur Gérard GAYET. Une cérémonie magnifique dans le très beau salon Opera de l’Hôtel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand. Je remercie chaleureusement le Président de l’Académie Monsieur GAYET, la Commission Supérieure des Récompenses et le conseil de Mme Danièle EL M'RABET pour cette reconnaissance artistique et leur soutien pour mon art … ainsi que le soutien de ma famille et mes amis.

Un moment très profond pour moi dans mon parcours artistique depuis 2017.

[🇺🇸] On October 14, 2023 at the 108th anniversary of Arts-Sciences-Lettres Paris (an Association under the high patronage of the President of the Republic FRANCE), I had the honor and privilege of receiving the Vermeil Medal from Mr. Gérard GAYET, the President of Académie Arts-Sciences-Lettres in recognition of my artwork and artistic contribution. It was a magnificent ceremony in the beautiful Salon Opera of the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand Hotel. My warm thanks to the President of the Academy Mr. GAYET, the Higher Awards Commission, and Mrs. Danièle EL M'RABET for this artistic recognition and their support for my art … as well as the support from my family and friends.

A very proud and emotional moment for me on my artistic journey since 2017.

[ 🇫🇷] Suite au prix d'art de la Galerie Thuillier reçu en février 2023 pour ma toile à l'huile équine, le "Salon de la Rentrée" présentera un de mes paysages "Ciel en feu" (lieu de peinture - Chailly-en-Bière, région Barbizon). Il s'agit du salon d'art annuel organisé par la Galerie Thuillier, située dans le quartier du Marais à Paris, quelques pas du Musée Picasso Paris 3ème. Au plaisir de retrouver d'autres artistes, amis et public lors de cet événement annuel qui marque le coup d'envoi de la nouvelle saison artistique parisienne.

[🇺🇸] Following Galerie Thuillier art award received in Feb 2023 for my equine oil painting, "Salon de la Rentree" will be featuring one of my landscapes “Ciel en feu” (painting location - Chailly-en-Biere, region Barbizon). This is the annual art salon hosted by Galerie Thuillier, located in the Marais district of Paris, doors down from the Picasso Museum Paris 3eme. Looking forward to catching up with fellow artists, friends and the public at this annual event to kick off new Paris art season.

Galerie 39 Barbizon Vernissage (1 Sept)

Mon exposition personnelle de « Cheval Dans L’Art » continue à Galerie 39 Barbizon jusqu’au dimanche 3 septembre. Le vernissage se tiendra le vendredi 1 septembre (18h-20h).  Je serai ravie de vous recevoir au vernissage et de présenter mes nouvelles œuvres d’art et des nouveaux tableaux en cours de réalisation pendant l’exposition.

• 12-15 August,  Dutch Equine Art Fair (Amsterdam)

The international equine art platform Paard Verzameld and the Living Horse Museum in Amsterdam join forces during the Dutch Equine Art Fair to bring the art, history and culture of horses together at the stunning historic location of the De Hollandsche Manege. • 23 August – 3 September,  Solo Art Show, Cheval dans l’Art (Barbizon, FR)

The end of summer brings the Young Horse showjumping finals to the Grand Parquet, Fontainebleau. It is also when I am at Galerie 39 Barbizon with my equines (paintings) with new paintings and, as usual, LIVE painting. Vernissage Friday 1 September 2023 (6pm).

2023 Printemps Été/ Spring Summer Newsletter

Depuis ma dernière newsletter, les derniers mois ont été très chargés… des expositions d'art, des voyages artistiques en Bourgogne et aux Pays-Bas, des événements à Barbizon… et… de nouvelles peintures à l'huile en cours, d'autant plus que presque toutes les peintures à l'huile de 2022 sont parties dans de nouvelles maisons. Ah OUI ! Un été chargé… des concours hippiques, des tableaux à l’huile en cours et des expositions d'art aux Pays-Bas, à Barbizon et à Paris.

[ 🇺🇸  Since my last newsletter it has been a very busy past few months … art exhibitions, art roadtrips to Burgundy and The Netherlands, events in Barbizon …  and … new oil paintings in the works especially given nearly all 2022 oil paintings are now in new homes. Ah YES! A busy summer … horse shows, artwork in progress and art exhibitions in The Netherlands, Barbizon and Paris. ]

Après une saison d'expositions d’art d'hiver réussie… il y a pas mal de tableaux en cours dans l'atelier d'art pour les expositions d'art à venir ainsi qu'une série de commandes et de créations artistiques dans le cadre du Collectif Paard Verzameld, qui se vendent comme des petits pains ! D’autres nouvelles / Other exciting news:

En plus d'avoir remporté le Prix de la Presse Mention Spéciale Galerie Thuillier 2023, j'ai récemment été promu membre de la prestigieuse Société du Salon des Artistes Français en 2023 (section : peinture). Un moment très fier pour moi de faire partie de la Société et de son Salon (plus de 300 ans d'histoire) suite à la sélection par le jury d'une de mes tableaux à l'huile équins pour Le Salon dans le cadre d'Art Capital, Grand Palais, Paris (2020, 2021 et 2022).

[ 🇺🇸  In addition to winning the Galerie Thuillier Special Mention Prix de la Presse 2023, recently, I was promoted to member of the prestigious Society of the Salon des Artistes Français in 2023 (section: painting). A very proud moment for me to be part of the Society and its Salon (300 years+ deep in history) following jury-selection of one of my equine oil paintings for The Salon as part of Art Capital, Grand Palais, Paris (2020, 2021 and 2022).]
